Revert Visual Customizations
So as it happens, you have applied visual customizations to your computer to make the buttons, scrollbars, menu buttons, etc. larger; but, you’ve decided this isn’t what you want. There are two options for fixing this problem: importing a backup file or manually resetting the values. Option 1 – Import the Backup 1) Open My Computer 2) Open Drive C 3) If you are using a 32bit version of Windows, then open Program Files a. If you are using a 64bit version of Windows, then open Program Files (x86) 4) Open the Thinix folder 5) Open the Backup folder 6) Open the VisualBackup.reg file a. I don’t have one! à Go to Option 2 b. If any prompts open, press Yes or Continue i. You will get a success message once the files has been applied 7) Reboot your system and log back in Option 2 – Manually set the Visual Settings 1) Windows 7 a. Open Control Panel b. Click ‘Appearance and Personalization’ c. Under Personalization, choose ‘Change window glass colors’ d. Towards the bottom third of the window, choose ‘Advanced appearance settings’ i. Change settings as desired 2) Windows Vista a. Open Control Panel b. Click ‘Appearance and Personalization’ c. Click ‘Customize colors’ d. Towards the bottom third of the window, choose ‘Open classic appearance properties for more color options’ i. Change settings as desired 3) Windows XP a. Open Control Panel b. Click ‘Display’ c. In the Display Properties window, click the ‘Appearance’ tab. d. Click ‘Advanced’ i. Change settings as desired Applies To: Thinix Touch 6 RTM and RC3 |
